He is co-founder of our agency and has been working in Executive Search for more than 25 years.

Jean-Bernard Chéney

Jean-Bernard Chéney obtained his Master in Finance from EAP, now ESCP-EAP. He studied in France, in the UK and in Germany. He followed INSEAD’s Advanced Management Program and obtained an Executive Master in Finance from the Solvay Business School. Jean-Bernard Chéney speaks French, English, German, Dutch and Italian.

Formerly Financial Controller in France at a large cement producer, Group Credit Manager of a chemical company in Germany, Director of Finance of an international chemical and pharmaceutical coordination center, European Finance Director with the world leader in medical technology in Belgium, CFO of luxury shoe manufacturer in France.

Jean-Louis de Moffarts

Jean-Louis de Moffarts obtained a degree in Applied Economic Sciences from the Catholic University of Leuven and CEPAC (Solvay).

He has acquired 20 years of experience in Human Resources with companies such as Moorkens Group, Reader’s Digest, BASF Group, MSD & Korn Ferry International.

Karin Kohnenmergen

Karin Kohnenmergen is the Manager of the Interim Management department. She has a degree from HEC Liège in Commercial Sciences. She acquired sales and marketing experience in multinational groups such as BASF, Karamba and Coca-Cola Division.

She lived in Italy and Greece for a few years where she joined her husband on an expatriate assignment.

Before joining Carrée, Biebuyck & Partners, she co-launched the Interim Management department at Robert Walters and acquired solid experience in this position. She speaks German, French, English, Dutch and Italian.

Frédéric Marquet

Frédéric Marquet obtained degrees in Marketing and Expedition. Before joining Carrée, Biebuyck & Partners, he gained over 20 years of experience in the Chemical field as International Sales/Marketing Manager and General Manager in companies such as BP Chemicals, Polimeri Europa and Barentz BV.

He has broad expertise in Sales & People Management. Frédéric Marquet speaks Dutch, French, English and German.

Philip Weyns

Philip Weyns obtained a Master’s Degree in Applied Linguistics from Lessius and an additional Degree in International Politics from the University of Antwerp (UA).

After a short period with the Council of State in Brussels, Philip Weyns joined Carrée, Biebuyck & Partners in 1999 as a Research Associate. Before becoming a Consultant, he also led our team of Researchers for 3 years.

Laurent Wibo

Laurent Wibo obtained a Master‘s Degree in Business Engineering from I.A.G. - Louvain School of Management.

Before joining Carrée, Biebuyck & Partners, he acquired several marketing and sales experiences within Colgate-Palmolive and Xerox.

Ernst Baart

Ernst Baart has obtained degrees in Marketing Communication and Quality Management Systems. He gained a lot of experience in Sales & Marketing for the fast moving world of retail (food & non food), followed by some 15 years of extensive experience in the world of management systems, organization, communication and change management for both large and small & medium sized companies.

He has worked for companies in Belgium, the Netherlands, France and the UK and is fluent in Dutch, French and English.
